Jamie Boyle: Photographer

Jamie Boyle was born in Philadelphia in 1954 only to be whisked away to Boston at the age of 10 days.

His mother, her parents, and her grandfather were all amateur photographers. His step-grandfather was a professional.

He got his first camera, a Polaroid Swinger, in 1968. Jamie bought a Minolta SRT 101 in 1969 and built a closet darkroom. In 1976, he opted for photography as an avocation.

Upon retirement from education in 2004, he enrolled at Daytona State College where he earned an Associates in Photographic Technology.

Jamie has recently begun selling prints at art shows.
