Asinikwe -- Stone Woman
Originally from Couchiching First Nation in the territory currently known as Ontario, Canada, Sharon Foy Harney also goes by the name Asinikwe, which in the Anishinaabe culture means "Stone Woman."
Sharon's world is centered around her family. She is the mother of five children, sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Sharon currently lives with her husband Dave in Camp Verde where she practices her art as a form of therapy and healing.
Proud of her heritage, Sharon continues to follow the Anishinaabe ways of bimaadziwin, which means "living in a good way" to encourage and support all those around her.

Stop by the Sedona Artist Market to see Sharon's amazing art! We are here 10-5 every day.
