Dawn Grace

Pet portrait and wildlife artist Dawn Grace was born in Lebanon, PA, in 1963. She gained her artistic talent from her father who was a gifted wood carver, always focused on detail. Dawn excelled in art classes during high school and participated in shows, winning the gold key award of excellence in her district.

After graduating from Cholla High School in Tucson, she attended the University of Arizona and obtained her license as a paramedic. She then moved to California where she worked as a ground and flight paramedic for 15 years.

In 2003, Dawn fell in love with the fine art of pastel painting after meeting painter Fran Odum. She moved back to Tucson and continued to build a portfolio of commissioned pastel paintings that attest to her admiration of domestic animals and wildlife.
