Constance Israel: Photographer

Constance Israel spent her childhood in Alabama and has been steadily moving westward ever since. She believes travel is the best teacher in this life, so she loads up her backpack whenever the opportunity presents itself. She's collected three college degrees along the way (BA in psychology, BS in Social Work, and MA in journalism), and she's still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up.
Constance has more than two decades of experience as a professional writer and editor. She's worked in educational publishing, on newspapers, and on countless freelance projects. She's taken photos since she was in elementary school. While she's traveled around the world a time or two and captured a few great images en route, one of her favorite photos was made in Sedona. As a volunteer in animal rescue, she was working with a dog, improving his leash manners and trying to find him a forever home. She took a series of photos to post online and captured a close-up of the dog's eye reflecting the majestic Courthouse Butte.
