Throughout her life, Kathy O'Connell has participated in many different forms of art, discovering herself to be endlessly curious about new projects, ideas, and creative expression. She currently creates fun and functional fabric art pieces.
She has attended many art classes as well as many sewing and quilting classes. Her idea of fun is spending a weekend watching hour after hour of tutorials on various techniques, or shopping for yards and yards of gorgeous fabrics, threads, and supplies.
Kathy has a degree in education, and she enjoys teaching people to be creative themselves. She's also a strong believer in giving back, with thousands of volunteer hours under her belt. Kathy has been steadily chipping away at a goal to donate 1000 sewn or quilted items to various charities during her lifetime.
Come see her work at Sedona Artist Market, open seven days a week 10-5.
