Artist and photographer Bob Cook enjoys "the nerdy side of photography," referring to his night shots and infrared conversion, but he holds to the belief that a photograph should look like a photograph as opposed to digital art where "Photoshop runs wild."

The stark contrast between the foliage and the sky comes from using an infra-red camera. The scene is in White Sands National Monument in New Mexico.
