My kids and grandkids live in Colorado, so I drive through Monument Valley every time I go to visit them. It is always breathtaking to me as I drive through this amazing area. It is the vastness and stillness that speaks to me. I painted this to reflect the vast and beautiful sky at sunrise. 
 
This original oil painting measures 12in x 16in. (with frame, size is 14in x 18in).
