Tish Siemion works with Mayan artists in Mexico and Guatemala, Aztecs in Mexico, Tigua in Ecuador, and descendants of the Inca in Peru. Her booth at the Sedona Artist Market is a real eye-catcher with its colorful statues, masks, clothing, and jewelry.
We are thrilled to share some of Tish's pieces with you here, including these leather hand-tooled bags. These fair-trade items are crafted by Mayan artisans near Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Each is 8.5in by 7.5in and features a sturdy and adjustable leather strap. Each bag weighs about 11oz.
