Artist and photographer Bob Cook enjoys "the nerdy side of photography," referring to his night shots and infrared conversion, but he holds to the belief that a photograph should look like a photograph as opposed to digital art where "Photoshop runs wild."
"Death Valley Artist Drive"
The scene exists in the Death Valley National Park in California. The image was captured at night when there was a little light left in the sky. The incredible colors, vividly expressed, arise from minerals in the desert sands.
