Gayle Potter, a former teacher/counselor in Flagstaff, is inspired by Sedona's natural beauty, which she has lived among for 26 years. She began working with glass in the mid 1990s, taking classes at Sedona Art Center. She has taken classes from numerous glass artists. On a trip to Italy about 20 years ago, she was inspired with the pictures Italian artists were creating with marble cut so precise as to create a “marble painting.” Upon her return to Sedona, Gayle was inspired
