Just Me, Sylvia

Sylvia Farrell was born and grew up in Phoenix, AZ. She started sewing on her mother's treadle sewing machine at age 5. She said she always wanted to design and make clothing. Sylvia attended design school in L.A. and came home to Phoenix and opened her first boutique at age 24. Sylvia enjoys adding surface designs or dying fabrics to add color and interest to make her clothing unique. As you can see in the picture above she love casual comfortable clothing. She is drawn to clear fresh colors in fabrics and stones. The rich red Sedona colors along with the Arizona turquoise stones are an inspiration. Constance has more than two decades of experience as a professional writer and editor. She's worked in educational publishing, on newspapers, and on countless freelance projects. She's taken photos since she was in elementary school. While she's traveled around the world a time or two

Marlene got serious about her art in 1981 and began painting abstract canvases, greeting cards, t-shirts, fabrics, and anything else she could apply a

Super Moon and Holiday Time!

It's a Full Moon again--this time it's in the sign of Gemini, and it's 2017's first and only Super Moon! The Moon appears to be bigger and brighter than usual (sometimes as much as 14% bigger and 30% brighter), and people notice! It's the first of 3 Super Moons, with the last one on Jan. 31st being a Lunar Eclipse as well. This is exciting and inspiring--what to do with all of that extra energy? Create, and participate in art however you can! Here at the Sedona Artist Market, we love all types of art, and encourage you to take in its beauty and inspiration. The Holiday Season is here, and the perfect gifts and stocking stuffers for loved ones can be found here: ornaments, jewelry, a new
